Coming from the South of Brazil, Giovani Goulart showed since childhood identification with music and he expressed an excellent relationship with the musical instruments, particularly with drums, piano and accordion, this last one an instrument that his father José Goulart also used to play.

 

As a young man he played along the best bands and recording studios of his city and state (Rio Grande do Sul). Quickly, he accessed a professional invitation that would take him to work in Frankfurt in the following four years.

 

In Germany, he expanded his musical contacts, acquired more experience and developed his rigorous critical thinking about everything he was doing.

 

After this period, he received a new invitation and followed directly to Portugal, city of Braga. In the followed twenty years that he lived there, he recorded dozens of CDs and made hundreds of musical productions. He also conceived and created new musical projects, played in big festivals, recorded his first live CD with top musicians and lived a long moment leading him to study Musicology at the Minho University (North of Portugal).

 

Currently, he has been traveling worldwide. He continues actively creating original songs, sound design and musical productions, as well as participating in live music performances in different styles according to the profile of each musical project.
